ABOUT MARTHA DRIVER
Martha E. Driver’s creativity
began to exhibit itself as a young girl growing up in Southern
California. She expressed her musical talent by playing
the flute. Playing, enjoying and appreciating music, however, didn't
satisfy Martha’s desire to be creative and she found herself
drawn to creating watercolors and oil paintings on canvas.
In 1990 Martha met her husband to be and relocated to be
with him in Seattle, “the city so green, so
clean, and so friendly”!! As the first true winter in
Martha’s life approached, she discovered knitting
and began to create luxurious, beautiful sweaters & scarves.
A few friends and family members were the recipients of
Martha's wonderful new expressions of her unique talent and
rare ability to visualize the exquisite finished pieces while
simply “being quietly with” the various skeins of yarns.
Then, one winter day, Martha chose to take a beading class and
soon experienced an overwhelming passion for using her abundant
talents to create more breathtakingly beautiful designs
in the form of necklaces, earrings and bracelets.--
